Based from prior experience of some customers, we've learned that the Microsoft Surface Book 2 doesn't appear to have enough current to drive UMIK-2 even though our devices are well below the USB 2.0 specs (200mA current draw vs 500mA of all USB ports). Customers have to resort to using an external USB port for the device to be discovered.
Note that this specific Microsoft product is the only product we're aware of having a compatibility issue with our products.
