One option is to connect more than one subwoofer to each subwoofer output. This gives up independent control of each individual subwoofer, but there are methods that will work this way. For complete control over each subwoofer, use an external DSP unit like a miniDSP 2x4, 2x4 Balanced, or 2x4 HD. See the Application note Tuning multiple subwoofers with miniDSP for details.
