NanoAVR as active crossover?

Can the NanoAVR-HD be used as a 3-way active crossover in a two channel system (I.e., two 3-way speakers, tri-amped)? I understand that the Nano Digi is better suited to this purpose. However, I'd prefer not to buy three DAC units. Instead, I'd like to link the NanoAVR to an Oppo 205 via an HDMI cable. (The source would be a laptop. The Oppo would just be used as a 7.1 DAC.) I just want to make sure that the NanoAVR will take a two-channel audio signal and distribute it appropriately to all of the drivers.

Thanks for your interest in our products.
Yes, it surely can. Thanks to the matrix mixer and full crossover duties/EQ/time alignment on the output, one can easily feed stereo and then split it to 3way stereo feed thanks to the internal matrix mixer block.
Hoping this info helps.
