I'm a little bit confused about the calibration. The Umik-1 is said calibrated and plug&play, and I can download the calibration file. OK, but does the mic contain the calibration data inside and outputs a corrected signal or is it just available for post-processing in third-party software?
Thanks for bringing some light to my understanding

The UMIK-1 will require a 3rd party software able to import the text file with the calibration offset. (i.e. post processing).
Most (if not all) measurement software support calibration file. If they don’t then it’s most likely not a software meant for audio measurement.
Hoping this info helps

Thanks for the answer.
It is what I expected but I am sure by now.
I am actually not using a measurement software but I am writing one whose purpose is to analyse audio stability, repeatability in cinema (including Dolby Atmos configurations). Hence, I needed to understand how to manage the gathered data.
