Thanks for your interest in our products.
I’m not 100% sure how you would though.. :-) There isn’t any knob on the unit.
Hoping this info helps.

I have quite similar question and I already know that there in no volume knob.
Have 2x4 HD with dirac live and want to use as preamplifier. Remote controle volume works fine.
1. I want to have volume information without PC connected. Is there a possibility to design and connect seven segment LED or other display?
2. I plan to integrate the 2x4 HD in bigger case incuding powersupply, media player and SPDiff toslink switch. Is there a possibility to design and connect volume potentiometer?
Will miniDSP plan volume extensions?
Thanks and best regards,

In answer to your questions:
Unfortunately there isn’t a way at this point of time to add a Volume control + LCD. Maybe in the future. We could build an IO panel controller. It’s a good idea for “suggestion” for future enhancements. :-)

would you be able to make upgrade to DDRC24 so you can see volume information on Android phone or tablet connected via USB to DDRC24 ?

Unfortunately we’re not 100% sure to understand.. Right now we don’t have an APP able to control/connect via USB I’m afraid…
We can add it to the list of feature request.. :-)

Hello! My plan is to connect this to a Bang Olufsen system so I can plug in 3rd party sub and filter the main speakers. The input signal to the DSP will be regulated for volume, will this (volume regulation) carry over to the output signal?

Sure, if you’re doing volume control at the input/source, it will indeed get carried over. I don’t see a reason why it wouldn’t. :-)
